STORMRISE - Game art

Hi all,

Below are images from the RTS game we are creating here at SEGA Creative Assembly Australia called Stormrise. Most of the artwork here is done in Zbrush,XSI, photoshop and 3DSmax.

I will continue to put more images up and also once the game has been release i will put up more content.

Wow surprised there is not comments, that monster is intense man! That is awesome, I would love to see a breakdown of the girl too. Is this a game that is out for production?

Very nice. Love teh nex-gen characters. Could you show us ZBrush models of man and a girl?

Sweet project…the models are superb in quality… Would love to see the original ZBrush version as well :+1: :+1:

im just going to ask one question: does this have to coincide with the storyline of Quake? cause for one the models you have done and from the looks of the back cover, it almost looks like it has quake written all over it. but i digress. those models are looking sweet man. i love the monster you did, very detailed. oh and a happy new year to you too. :smiley:

oh and if your wondering why i asked that question, i played all the quake games all up to Enemy Territories: Quake Wars. :smiley: . awesome series.

Lordrych and Nebular : I will post a break down of the girl and the lead character once I get clearance from my company to post them :smiley:

SolidSnakexxx : Below are screenshots straight from zbrush. Although i do not subdivide the hard edge objects because I use it only as template for the organic sculpt and plus cant Sub D it, because i did not separate the cylinders (like buttons etc) in subtools. When the cylinders are subD’ed they generate spikes, so i learnt my lesson from now on i seprate the cylinders :cry: I mainly generate all my maps in XSI.

Gohanf22 : The game style is far from quake maybe hehe. Its a real time strategy game with a feel of 3rd person style. Thanks heaps for the comment :wink:

Zbrush has always been the artists well used software here in SEGA Creative Assembly especially in the character art department. I just like to say thanks heaps pixologic for creating such an awesome software :cool:

well if it isnt quake, i sure as dont know what it is then. lol. nevertheless your artwork on this game is awesome and possibly will be a game i may possibly play. nice work.

This is great work man, I’d say it’s top row material if the mods around here weren’t all on vacation and apparently missing tons of top-row quality posts! :smiley:

selwy: Thank you for your reply ! Your artwork is one of my greatest inspirations. A lot your images is in my inspirational folders hehe. Your understanding of anatomy is amazing. :+1:

oh you can bet i will. this game looks so like quake that even if it isn’t, i’m still going to buy it most likely. keep coming with the updates man. i love the work your doing.

Nice work Shinja, thanks very much for posting these, I will be looking foward to seeing more when you can show us. I really Like the Saitech, even with the undevided geometry it looks very cool.

When you say 3D RTS, do you mean the player is in the game on the ground like a FPS camera, but following the character in 3rd person like Solid Snake. Kind of like Uprising.

Awesome work man, the high poly models looks really good. tons of details and design on all of them. i think alot of the details are getting lost on the low poly models because the normal maps arent cranked up enough though. could just be how you rendered the models or something.
