and yeah… I don’t know if it should work just with a texture map…
I fear it’s getting fuzzy as well… lol: or this was just a brainless blackout :eek:
My suggestion would be to use the displacement map like you’ve tried. But remember that you can adjust the levels of the map. If you don’t want grayscale and only want black or white then adjust the levels in Photoshop to get the effect you’re after.
thank you aurick… well, yeah, this is what I did… I adjusted the levels in order to get a black and white map…
but it’s not working as clean and solid like I thought…
but even if I do have that texture map, I would again use the diplaced alpha map in order to get a mask… and use that mask for a solid color on the stitches onlye.
so it would NOT be different… strange, strange…
still a riddle…
