im wondering if its possible when i have to reinstall win7, if i still can activate zbrush 3.5 r3?!?
im using zspheres/zsketch for my workflow and zb4 has big problems when using zsketch (memlist error 1206 etc) and still after long zb release it seems there is no workaround or even a patch for that. so i still need zb 3.5 r3 (just for the zsketch part)

I believe there is no further support for 3.5 so I wouldn’t expect the activation to work anymore.

ZBrush 4 should be installed to its own folder. It will not work right if installed over 3.5. After you have installed it you can copy your tools and non-plugin startup items over. Plugins should be downloaded fresh from the Download Center, since earlier versions of them will not work in 4.
Z4 has a new serial number, so the licensing is unaware of 3.5. You can continue to have both on your computer. Only 4 will be supported anymore, however. If something causes 3.5 to stop working, that will be it for that version.
i would like to hear some ideas/offers from pixologic if its not possible anymore, coz zketch doesnt work in zb4 and i need it.
For now, the activation system remains in place. You can activate 3.5 using the serial number for that version. I do not know how long that will remain true as there is officially no support for 3.5 anymore.
ok thx for info, well, if there will be a patch/workaround for that zsketch 1206 memlist bug/error, zb 3.5 isnt needed anymore
