When it would be released tomorrow, I would wait with downloading untill the download speed works at normal levels again. I will let all you supermotivated greeders who know everything about 4.6 download first, and go on using what I have.

I take mild exception to being called a greeder.
Scenario: Company produces excellent videos, presents over the top demos – both designed to whet the appetite for a program upgrade. The strategy works.
Then…customers are criticized by other customers for having exactly the reaction the company likely wanted?
WTF? If we weren’t excited about the upgrade, that’d mean the demos and videos were a total waste of the company’s time.

Funny, there hasn’t been an over hyped or over the top demo prior to the release of any previous version of Zbrush that I can remember because ZBrush lived up to and always exceeded the expectations of its users. Note that it has been the users and this community to push the boundaries of ZBrush. The blood thirst and excitement is totally understandable, but greeders??? Perhaps those who are far to criticle of a free upgrade… I will more than likely wait for the traffic to die down as well eventhough my anticipation exceeds my capacity… 
Excitement, enthusiasm, and word of mouth often go far when it comes to selling a program, also.
I would not buy a program where users had an “oh, ho hum” attitude toward it. I would, however, buy a program whose users were passionately enthusiastic about current and impending versions.
I’ve really never seen a program that surpassed Zbrush, when it comes to impassioned users, either.
Figured I would add more fuel to the out of control fire of emotions in this thread… I love that so many artists are so passionate about the future of zbrush It makes me so happy to see this… This is the very reason why pixologic is different from most software company’s out there it has always had artistic expression above all else in mind and a way to express that very thought in a creative way… Get ready it’s happening soon… 
Another day passed,If they don’t release it tonight or in the morning I don’t see them releasing it doing the printing EXPO. They have to do a huge website update. If anything, doing the printing expo they will give us another teaser and a actual date.

Jan and Dil… I think I know where Cath has been all this time. I think she joined the beta team on this. I see her style on allot of the models that were flashing by. I may be wrong but I’m HOPING I’m right. Knowing her she’s got it and has it mastered by now! She’s one amazing lady!
