I dont want to mention the name of another program here but its part of my request, I really want to use the modeling brush on objects I import from sketchup pro 2015. I am afraid I still wont be able to do anything at all with .obj I import from that program. I will just explain a little. Any time I import an object from there that object will not zremesh, dynamesh or decimate properly. Without destroying the topology. I wish I could figure out a work around for that so very badly. Have googled around and just cant come up with a fix. I know the new modeling brush will do a lot and more of what I use that program for but I do precise measurements constantly. give us a tape measure tool and guides??? Im going to be super happy with new zbrush anyway besides this small problem. thx

Last night in a dream I was having had a chat with Chronos, the God of Time. He told me he’s getting too old, and he muses on retiring on his birthday, which falls on the 20th of January. From that moment on, time will stand still and we’ll stay 20 of January untill someone is prepared to take his job.

@myshadow -if you model in quads in sketchup imported obj’s will work fine in zbrush. it’s the n-gons that sketchup allows you to make that are causing the problem.

Guys Its going to be the 25th of jan i have a strong feeling, thats not a guess… When they started this thread it was 3 weeks ago … which means a week before january and they they will finish it on december , aka a month later if that makes any sense so a month later means 30 days which is after a week and 2 days from now

I was hoping for my Birthday but as that’s today it would have to be in the next 24 hours…so hope I have time to play with it before I have to go back to work.
