Starcraft 2 Zeratul

Hello everyone. This is my first serious attempt at a Zbrush model. Modeled with ZSketch (sooo much fun to mess around with :D), retopologized and I’ve just started to sculpt (mainly on the head as you can see). I’m still working out the anatomy, I know his leg muscles are wrong and his back also.

Progress. Working on getting his cloth elements in place. Also got his base “hair” in place and added more detail to his hands. C&C always appreciated

Done with the the shirt/loincloth/cape piece for now. Moving on to the last 2 big draped pieces on his shoulders. I’m still learning most of the tools but I have yet to figure out how to make frayed ends or holes in the cloth. Do I paint on a transparency map and use that in another 3D application or is there a way to do it in ZBrush and have it show?

Looks good so far. Maybe rework the cloth folds.

For holes try some of the new clipping brushes.
