I have another tutorial on the Digital Tutors site that I would love your feedback on.

Its a set of videos to demonstrate many ways of extracting and creating new geometry from a simple female base mesh.

really happy to hear you’ve gotten some tutorials up Peter! especially the dino influenced ones. been a fan of your dino work through ZBC for a while. keep up the awesome work

You can count me in Peter. i’ll definately view that. looks ace. my last effort at armour wasnt too bad but as a newb, i feel i dont yet fully get what ZB can do for me.

all the best-- Tim.

That is great Pete. I love the Panda, VERY well done. You seem to have gotten a fantastic handle on the Fibermesh tools right away. The bamboo and fur look excellent.

Peter,

i just finished watching this tutorial and really loved your relaxed commentary and the info you were able to pass along. i do hope you do more humanistic tutorials in the future . i would love to see a vid on you creating the base mesh. its always nice to see how its done.
i learned alot from the vids and will now try to add the flows in to my efforts at learning ZB.

many thanks again – tim.

Thanks Tim…glad you liked it. I have a couple more tutorials coming out soon. Will keep you posted.

I wanted to share this link…Its an e book on creating dinosaurs by Andrew Kerr.

I work with Andrew often on books and his renderings make my creatures look so cool.

Thanks Guys,

Just getting to grips with Octane render…hate the nodes based method…so wish Pixologic would implement a more ā€œzbrushā€ style version of the octane render method.Captureoctane render.JPG
