Sculpted in zbrush

His topology is pretty screwed by the ears and neck.I dont know if it’s intended, but he’s kinda bumpy too, like if you subdivide high before starting to sculpt. Then it’s quite hard to smooth the surface.
He looks funny with those eyes tho, like he’s scared about something behind my back.
Thanks vic.
heres another one.

Much better. Keep going!
Thanks silkori.
These arent really better, but they are different.
One is brightened heaps, looks kinda cartoony.

Im still yet to get the tools I need to add hair and clothes, anyone can recommend any cool raytracing programs for me? (I have a small budget even if the program is worth quite a bit, I need quality)
I made one that nearly looks real… do you think?

He seems to lack something of an upper lip, but perhaps that’s just for effect. I might suggest adding a glowing white eye type of thing, perhaps on only one eye to give off a devious looking effect, rather like Marilyn Manson horror show kind of stuff.
Isnt blender good enough? I’ve tried out the new rendering options just for fun to see how it has changed since years ago, and it’s very good. I dont use blender tho, because I’ve used 3d max for some years and dont wanna learn a new interface.
And it does hair and clothing too
Ill get MAX and VRAY probably.
Thanks everyone, setting up realistic skin is fun! I love doing it.
Heres a mental ray attempt with the same model.
I know theres bugs… theres red showing through because areas of
the sculpt are souped together, its my bad - im just so messy when i sculpt
And I do realize I need to learn how to model ears. lol.
heres a piece i call “poppy boy”
heres another one, this one I wasnt going for real, more non photorealistic style.
