Hello to all you highly skilled artists here at Zbrush Central!
I’m fresh out of the gates with zbrush and have almost no understand of how to accomplish certain things. So I went looking for tutorials and stumbled across this one of how to create a “squirkle” macro by Jason Welsh: http://www.cgarena.com/freestuff/tutorials/zbrush/sculpting_series/ Awesome videos btw. Now when I tried to follow it I found that my texture palette wasnt the same as his in the video, so stepping out of the process in the video i turned my cube into a 3d polymesh. Doing that seemed to fix it as I was able to see the enableuv button even though it was greyed out. I took it to mean that it was already enable since I could click the disable uv button then click the enableuv afterwards. So I continued with the tutorial. However when i got to the part when you need to use the reconstruct subdiv option under geometry, well… my squirkle wasn’t exactly “squirkley”.
Can anyone offer some wisdom on How I might be able to fix this?
You need to click on the unified skin once you made it. Can’t believe thats all I needed to do.
I’m glad you got it figured out. It was driving me crazy, too, because I was assuming that you were doing that, and then couldn’t figure out where the problem was.
