Spotlight with Projection Master?

Is it possible to use Spotlight with Projection Master when painting to UV maps?

Sadly no. And I wish they wouldn’t tease us by making it visible while in projection master.:frowning:

Is it anyhow possible to apply textures while projectionmastering?

Yes. You apply a texture to a plane and then in Projection Master draw out the textxured plane and use the move tool to place it infront of the mesh. When you exit projection master it will wrap around the mesh. That’s the quick answer. You can also paint textures on with some of the 2.5d tools while in Projection Master.

That’s very good to know! Thanks!

Which 2.5D tools can I paint textures with? Somehow I can’t find the right ones.

By the way, if I may ask, are you also in Japan? Kanagawa-ken here…

There’s a number of brushes…just try them out. You need to pull them down from the tool pallette…for some reason they move out of view when you go into projection paint. Some of the brushes won’t let you access the texture palette, but many do, like the directional brush. So try them all out to see which works best for you. If you use the Draw Rect feature with the brush you can drag out your texture and position it. Otherwise you will just be “painting” with your texture which is probably not what you want to do.

And you can use the transpose tools to move or scale each stroke, but once you go on to the next stroke you can’t go back and alter a previous one.

And no, I’m not from Japan, unfortunately!
