I’ve been working with Spotlight to polypaint textures on a model. I understand that the resulting resolution is dependent on the subdivision of the model, but it also appears that is affected by your view zoom level too. In other words the resolution of polypaint in Spotlight is much softer if you are viewing the entire model on your screen vs. zoomed into a tight region of it. Is this “normal” behavior? The downside of this is you have to be very careful about always painting at the same zoom level (aka tool scale) to avoid mixed quality in the final texture paint.
