Spotlight isnt transfering black colored parts of my logo.

I’m trying to transfer a jpeg logo as a texture on a 3D sphere using Spotlight. For some reason the black text on my logo isnt being transfered properly. It shows up greyish with black outlines. Any idea what might be going on here?

Until someone with more expertise chimes in here…I believe full black is read as transparent in Spotlight. Perhaps you could play around with adding a tiny amount of red to the black in your image. Just a thought.

Hmm, Spotlight did not have trouble capturing the black eyes of a lizard I used as a texture of creature head I created - http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showpost.php?p=719865&postcount=5

Better yet!!! Move the intensity button on spotlight just a bit to fix it.

Just found the thread on this:

It is only absolute black (RGB 0,0,0) that is transparent. The Komodo’s eye is not absolute black.
