Spotlight displaying always my brush cursor with Alpha, despite Alpha is OFF

Hi,
I’m struggling today with my Spotlight brush:

Everything works technically fine, BUT I have always an Alpha visible, which I created yesterday.

Even when I initialize ZBrush, restarted it, reset all brushes and create a fresh sphere, it’s still there.

This alpha does not work! It is just displayed
Means: the brush behaves normally like Alpha=OFF and Spotlight works fine.

I tried to delete texture to activate another alpha, but it doesn’t change the appearance of my brush.
The Alpha display size is directly connected to the Spotlight Radius size.
please see attached pictures,
thanks

that’s Spot Light Radius, not an alpha.

turn that value down in spotlight.

AHHHHH, it’s not my alpha, it’s correctly as it is…?
Ok, when I turned spotlight radius down it’s really gone.

It looked exactly like my self-made alpha, what drove me mad today because I thought I did something wrong.
Took me hours today

thanks!!
