spotlight dial problem?

Hey guys,
sorry to post this here, I couldn’t find the right place to do it…
I’m having a problem with spotlight, when I select a texture and I click on the “add to texture” under the “texture” menu, I get the image and the spotlight dial in the middle of the screen, I can place it and use it etc until I press shift+Z, which makes disappear the image and the dial, normally, by pressing just “z” I can hide the DIAL and keep working normally, but I have my “z” key assigned to something else so I haven’t found a way to hide/unhide the dial hence making it useless for me. Is there any way to achieve that? any help appreciated!

thanks a lot

Hello. How can I rebind dial on another key?

I’m currently looking for an answer to this as well. I previously assigned the z key to work as a hotkey to something else and now I can’t bring up my spotlight. Is there a way to rebind or restore spotlight to a hotkey without having to restore all keys to default?
