Split polygroups problems (nudity)

I have a mesh that I’d like to separate in various subtools, one for the arms, legs, head and so on…

so I masked the mesh -> created polygroups from masked -> groups split but the resulting subtool doesn’t follow the polygrouped area… am I missing something in the workflow??

You have to create polygroups on the lowest subdivision level. Use Selection brushes instead of masking.
