Specular Maps in Zbrush

Hi there
I am wondering, why pixologic forgot to include a “paint specular map” function. I think its an important one.
Creators of such an incredible software do not forget… :smiley:
So there must be a way to go around. But how?
Using the displaceMap in Photoshop to create the specMap? Possible, but by using goZ, it would be a step out of the pipeline.

But is it the only way?

Well, you right, but if your texture painting needs are not fulfilled by Z, you always can visit The foundry´s Mari and end your high quality multi channel realtime texturing needs for good.

yeah, or to mudbox. Whithin mudbox you can paint specMaps on your model in realtime. But as said, I cant believe that creators of such an incredible program like Zbrush, had just forgotten this Map. There must be a good workaround.
