Zbrush for the head and some details ,rest modeled and rendered in Modo.
really nice work on your spearman character, love the details and the armour is great!

Awesome Design man,
I am curious what does your topology look like for something like the shoulder pad detail or the gold belt? I have found that detail like that takes a great deal of polys especially when trying to maintain all quads. That’s why I ask.

Is there a displacement map on the shoulder pad as well then to pull out the extra details?

There is a normal map with some extra detail which are to small for poly modeling.
I choose not to go this time with the displacement to save some rendering time because I am in a bit hurry to get my reel done.
