This is turning out to be a really beautiful piece! The way you describe the female form is very inspiring to me.

And you have been very consistent with your updates, I must thank you for that! I really enjoy seeing your progress on this.

One thing troubles me…her head looks kindda small…i think if u scale it a bit would make her look better.

Thanks Nimot, I’ll consider it. I like her tall proportions, but she does have the build of a smaller person. I will make adjustments either way.

Tossed the head into marmoset and did a couple test bakes. I’m not sure I want to go with marmoset for this. I think I might want to use something new, since I am rarely ever happy with unity for straight portfolio shots, and characters rendered in marmoset always look good, but have a similar quality that they all share.

I like her just the way she is. Don’t think the head is too small really.

While I agree that a larger head would probably make her look more “normal/realistic”, I’d have to say that I feel a large part of her appeal is her unusual build. She looks really tall and delicately elegant and in that way beautifully unique. Personally, I’d stick with the proportions you currently have. She almost seems like a very human-like alien or a genetically engineered human or something like that and has a lot of appeal that way. Just my 2 cents. :slight_smile:

I’d probably pull out her ears a wee bit more to the sides, though to widen her head a little that way. I’d say she looks a bit “compressed”.

nice work man i love the design! keep up the great work! nice renders as well! I have to ask you how do you render those eyes in marmoset? like the toy plastic look in zbrush? I’ve been trying to figure it out and no luck :confused:

Zborn, the eyes are in marmoset with faked specular, since I can never get ones that I like. Also skin material applied with blue sub-dermal depth.

My vote is for the front of B and the back of C. I might also recommend changing the value of the dark grey to a slightly lighter grey, the contrast right now seems a bit too much. But it’s looks amazing so far!

I like the center chest gradation halftone from ‘B’, but the legging design of ‘C’. I think for the most part as far as readability C is the direction, but as I was mentioning about the grey center chest print, the weight draws the eye directly to the character’s face for me.
