Space Bounty Hunter

Hello there! This is my first post here and I’m a little bit afraid… there’s a lot of “monster” out there!
But I wanna share with the community my works and my models
This character took away a lot of blood from my veins. Lot of concepting, lot of redo, lot of clean up, lot of lot. Zbrush for all the high poly (thanks dynamesh!), Topogun for the low poly version, xNormal for the baking process, Blender for the uv’s and the rigging, Photoshop for the maps and the holy Marmoset for the ingame rendering. C&C are truly welcome.

Awesome work Neo!

Thanks… Neo xD

Hey Neo,
The high poly sculpt is sick, great looking character!
However I feel like the game mesh is a bit of a let down, due to the textures, missing shoulder armor and the pose. The shoulder pad is missing, which really helps breaking the symmetrical silhouette.
Not to sound like a jackass, but the textures are really blend/boring, the armor consists mainly of dark blue-ish or black and red. It seems like one big suit, instead of those awesome seperate parts as you have in the sculpt. As for the digital camo, its looks a bit as you thrown on a tileable texture on it, although Im pretty sure that is not the case :stuck_out_tongue: Also maybe choose a material/texture (maybe leather-ish) that is more united with the suit, as it looks a bit as two seperate object right now. As for the pose it looks really stiff, maybe its the angle, but Im missing dynamic in the pose.
Dont get me wrong, I like what you have already, but I’m sure that it could be even cooler then it is already!

Cheers,
Emiel
