Hey everyone, It’s been awhile. We were busy on the beta among other things. Should be back at it this week. Here’s a few new ones for now.
We’re making Zelda characters. Here’s my take on the goron and moblin.

And all that from a single sphere… So cool.:+1:

Amazing. How much time did you take for goron and moblin?

Hey guys, Thanks!
As always these are done over an hour period. Everything in this thread is like that. The other guys on the team have some stuff to show as well. Hopefully later today they will have them up!

@RJ - everything we do for lunch is in an hour. Katon and I have been wanting to knock out some bodies and comp a bunch of full characters together.
We’ll see what happens though, its kind of stressful to sculpt a full body. You sacrifice quality when trying to sculpt all of that. Some of the other guys made busts that turned out really nice. So, i might jump back to those.

Here is my Moblin. It’s good to back doing some Lunch Crunches. Stay tuned for more!

Awwwww MAN!! it’s like you guys had all the same favourites I did as a kid!!! Zelda must have taken years of my life in it’s various forms!

Love your work guys! Can’t wait to see more now the BETA is done and ZB4 R2 is out.

Keep going guys!

These are awesome Bryan!

dustbin1_uk- We are totally kids of the 80’s and I think this thread shows that. Some more nerdy retro work is just around the corner!

LowriWilliams- Thanks, this is the entire teams work though. We have 7-8 different team members posting work in this thread. Glad you like it!

Sweetness. I was going to be starting a physical sculpt of a Moblin soon. Good to get some inspiration.

here is a few, i will try and upload the vids sometime soon.

Awesome work Jim!

I love that Zora I remember that char from the original zelda would pop up in the water and fire a ball in your general direction lol.
awesome
I do have a question. Your specular reflections around the shoulder turned out so great in the composite and as a hobbyist I have not crossed that bridge yet. Did you use the new light caps for that effect or did you do a more traditional way? Could you point me in the right direction to a good tutorial ? thats really one of the best composites I have seen on this amazing thread.
thanks

Hi ,i see more and more people use the same method that i use (starting from 0 for any character) :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:
jjvdb15 - on the last character did you use unify skin method or the last z brush 4R2 ?

Sweet! Iv’e been waiting for this theme, absolutely amazing! :+1:

Very cool! Keep it up guys!

I have aquestion, does the luchcruch characters mean you don’t have regular lunch at Sony but have to model these to eat them?

I am loving this thread, the video of your techniques speaks volume about how to get things done without and word being said.

Zora,Old school style!
