If I load Zbrush right away I can do the ALT+TAB command to switch back and forth with other applications, for example a reference PDF or OneNote notes…
But sometimes It gets locked down, the screen won’t switch, I searched the preferences for a setting to change the “Always On Top” feature, and I searched the forums. Please enlight me.
I’ve been noticing this more recently too. So far I’ve just been minimizing it (or the restore button to keep it more in a windowed mode) in order to switch apps, but it would be nice to know why alt+tab sometimes works in fullscreen but not always.

Same. Wish that we could just get a version of the UI that doesn’t try to gobble everything up. I’ve got an art director trying to IM me but can’t see it because the UI is taken over completely by ZB. I try to do the “mediumize” option where i drag it out by the corner (once i can FINALLY get a hold to teh edge without it sliding the right panel up and down) then I save the document. Not only does this NOT stay that way and kind of decides where teh UI will span when I fire ZB back up, but now it wont let me alt_tab to other things. It’s these sorts of minor annoyances that really add up over time.
