Something wrong with Obj Export - Answered

I am getting a nasty error with obj export.
This is what I do.
This the original geo painted and created inside ZB… the melting.

I simply export the geo with quad.

if I import on any 3d app or even if I bring back to ZB I get a “stepped” surface… its not smooth… not good.

Am I missing something?
Did anyone got the same issue?
I am on 3.12 OSX 10.5.5 btw.

Hi,
Set the export scale to a large value and export from the export sub palette, then try importing the mesh into another application. Is it OK now? if not, then please follow the instructions in http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/announcement.php?f=8 and if possible, include the ‘blob’ mesh with your email so it can be tested.

Interesting, at scale 100 it seems to work.
here is the reimported mesh in ZB and in C4D, both work well, just need to fix the scale.
Is this a bug? I dont recall this behavior on 3.1
