Really nice sculpting keep up the great work!
thanks again for the kind words!
Pisong, honiley, i used zbrush for the sculpting, after i exported the cage and displace mapping into 3dsmax and i did the render in there.Since I have been using it for a long time i feel like i have much more control over the materials lights and cameras…
I will post some camera animations as soon as i finish them, and some new models that i hope i will be able to finish too
xuxo, great to hear from you, and willing to see some new models from you, i love them!
I luv that horned monster so cool, the anontomy is great and the detail!
Breathtaking models! Inspiration for us all.
Keep up the great work!
Great work!
cool looking sculpt.
Oh my,very detailed models. I guess if u split the models and extract maps for each parts you will have ultimate control over the details.
You re an amazing artist and cant wait to see more from u
Cool models!!! I really like the Muscle monster!!!
Wonderful, inspiring work. I especially liked the horned monster.
How about some more insite into your workflow.
Alex, your work is outstanding! I know your pressed for time but are you going to finish out (color etc.) any of the models? You briefly mentioned animation, what are your plans in this venue?
Keep pushin’ those pixols!
Great Job ! Very cool characters ! And the other stuff on your website is great too !
Just one question: What kind of computer have U got ? Because in zbrush when I want to have such detail I can’t push more than 2 millions of poly…
Hey Alex! GREAT IMAGES!!
Very good anatomy and detailing work!!
The renders are very good too! What did you use in Max? Mental Ray? VRay?
Keep posting more!!
I feel embarassed to point this out–I mean you probably know this already–but the second character has two arms too many!!
Just kiddin’. Amazing modeling.
Simply amazing!!! Very realistic!! I, as many others, particularly like the rhino/dino-man. The apparent thickness of it’s skin does not hide the musculature details!! Well done!! Do you have plans to clothe any of them in battle raiment or such?
hi metamesh,
ur models look awesome.
at first i thought u were someone else from silo forum. ur ‘busto’ character looks so much as a model i’ve seen on silo forum made by brook.
did u use it as a reference, or developed it independently. it’s surreal how simmilar it turned out.
u can find the image i’m refering to here:
very nice modeling !
One great work! The character design is fabulous, and nice concepts!hope 2 c more…
hey nice modelling, and great results w/ displacements. that first guy looks like an ex-boss of mine…what a bastar*** he was!! anyhow congrats for the great work!
Hi guys!
i have been on holidays for a while and unable to keep cheking this fantastic forum that zbrushcentral is! thanks for the comments. here are some answers to some questions.
GPEPPER i am using a dual amd 2000 with 1gb ram and gforce5700, is quite old now, but still works allright with zbrush, but when i work with more thatn 2m poligons in zbrush it gets reaally slow…
GUSYAMIN I used 3dsmax and Vray, i find vray really easy to setup and quite fast for the render, and the displace is really good too, one of the bests that i have seen!
BOOTS yes i don´t know yet what kind of clothes but i´d like to clothe them! it seems a bit odd that all of them are naked
SMELLIE u are right that the head looks like the picture that u showed us!WoW! i didn´t use as reference but i used a picture off an sculpture, i don´t remember the guy who did it, but i will look for that. Maybe that guy used the same reference for his?
VIVIEN fortunatly now is just EX bastard there are always bosses like that…i remember one that i had, he was like the one with 4 arms and he used the 4 of them to hit me everyday, snif…
hey very nice models;
but i have a little question…
how you render multitiles with Vray?
and how is the workflow with multitiles can you tell something about that?
elron
Hi
Elron what do u mean with multitiles? i think u mean with different maps for differents part of the object? I am using just one map for each model, i have seen that u can use multitiles but i haven´t tried yet…
