AWESOME as Hell !!! Thank you for sharing your work with us …:o
Congrats on top row! Can you please show the polypainted image from Zbrush, as the one seen in the giff right before the final render? I think I prefer that one, but it goes away too quickly
Great design and great execution! The SSS came out great!
Really well done. I like this version of Leah Good joke lol
Many a good work is posted here on ZBrushCentral. And sometimes something staonds out of the rest. These are called outstanding.
This is such a work.
It makes me breathe deeply and think: wow!
I visited your YouTube channel, and this is not the ‘lucky exception’, no: all your works are, like they say in the US of A ‘jawdroppers’.
Congrats.
Testure you said:
Some might argue that the whole POINT of art is to offend people.
And for the record, if a swooning bible thumper clicked on the thread after seeing the top row image, maybe they have it coming?
You respond to Anthony’s concern by attacking millions of people with your “swooning bible thumper” s h i t and “maybe they have it coming” comment.
WTF!..your comments are WAY out of line.
**** that noise about satanic images… I really dig this! I’d even like to see more of this nature. I’d hate to start an art discussion because they’re pointless. Let people create what they like and if you don’t dig it just move on. Won’t make anything at all if you’re worried you’ll offend someone.
Amazing work my friend, very cool. And on the ‘religious’ thing, my wife once told me, we need to know evil DOES exist, but that does not mean we HAVE TO BELIEVE IN IT. To me, and I am religious as well, this is simply… cool art. Keep doing what you do-
@Anthony jones:

I think he’s just making the reference in jest, probably just poking at seeing something in people’s designs, making something out of nothing substantial. Much like Illuminati conspiracy theories and whatnot.
-
His jocular reference to the Baphomet is no more “sneaky” than your needless mention of being an atheist. It’s just as I always say, Atheists commonly like to needlessly inform people of their beliefs, just as the many theists they oft criticize.
-
I agree with you that this can offend some folks, and it’s really not all that funny as a jest, but still, this is the general public. You take the risk of being offended, whenever you venture a public venue such as here.
Plus, being offended about something you visited in public isn’t exactly the end of the world–the best one can do is just realize that you’re in the public, and you try to avoid it if you can.
-
You say “Some might argue that the whole POINT of art is to offend people,” but I’d say, according to what, exactly? “Art” doesn’t serve a singular objective. Some art seeks to inspire. Some art seeks to disturb. Some art seeks to communicate one of any number of ideologies. And some art have no significant message or meaning at all. At the end of the day, “art” varies, both in substance and in intention.
-
You say “Those who would be offended will always find something to be offended by,” but I bet if I were to, say, create some sculpt of a heterosexual couple hugging their kids, titled “True Family,” you’d might perhaps be someone offended, view it as “heteronormative,” and label it as “homophobic.”
The kind of statement you made never holds it as absolutely as the tone you’re using. It always seems to fold on itself, as soon as the topic ventures onto territory of the politically-incorrect. Suddenly, where once before you say what’s offensive doesn’t matter, now what’s offensive becomes something society gets called to not tolerate.
Perhaps I’m reading a bit too much into this, and this is all getting besides the point here at ZBrushCentral, but I’m just illustrating a point, applicable to both cases here: You guys are making some pretty relative claims in a rather absolute tone. Simple inquiry unravels the strength of your claims: Says who? In accordance to what in reality, beyond your own say-so?
Now, for my topic-relevant comment…
@Gilberto Magno
Interesting image, to say the least. Looks like she’s gradually turning into a monstrosity, and her woeful face is the last remaining bit of humanity about her, before the monster consumes her being.
And it looks like two mutant Chocobo (from the Final Fantasy franchise) pended there on her shoulders!
I find it as a bizarre-looking image, but a well-executed sculpt.
Really amazing work!
Execution wise, very beautiful; skilled and respectful draftsmanship.
Art wise, I like the mood of the composition, she is suffering but is also a demonic entity. The contrast can trigger a certain fear in the viewer.
Religious significance wise, its quite demonic!, lots of dangerous looking details, crimsons, and brimstone tones… effective!
About the whole “point of art is to offend” idea… That is a contemporary idea, with its own rite and effective use, but far too narrow of a concept to apply to all art and all people’s perceptions about art.
one word. Awesome. That is an amazing piece of work!
Really awesome. Congratulations.
Parabéns Gilberto, ficou muito show o breaking down, tem meu voto garantido. =P
your Norse woman is so beautifully done, very inspiring. Thanks for sharing
really amazing work! congrats on top row!
dope work!

Man… I love this. I’m not terribly partial to demonic stuff because I feel like it’s kind of played out but certainly not because I find it offensive. The detail and subtle colors are nothing short of awe inspiring. Delicious!
my 2 cents… Art should make a connection and/or evoke an emotional response. If it’s offensive, it’s likely the person viewing often feels offended. Keep on truckin’!
What a great idea ! very nice.
Fantastic and satanic!! This crying face is terrifying and amazing! Great job, congrats Gilberto!!
