hi everybody, m very new and i need some help here. ur help is highly valued.

1st of all the problem is this:

suppose i start work with poly sphere. after some work i go off edit mode. then i acidently click and drag on the space which obviously create another copy of the model m working on.

the question is: how do i delete the new one and continue working on my previous?

2nd is the ‘save as’ function:

when i ‘save as’ my work, i does save the work but the problem is that its like i have duplicated my model.

do u understand my question? i really need ur help. thank u in advance.

When you work on your sphere, save it as a ZTool, then if you accidenty create a second ZTool in your scene you can simply clear the workspace (Ctrl + N) and then load your saved ZTool (Sphere) again and continue.

Not sure I understand the question, but if you do a “Save As” it will save over the file if it has the “same” name or it will save a new copy provided you give it a new name just like any other application. If you deselect the “Edit”, then you are in 2.5D mode and no longer in 3D mode so your model will be duplicated if you drag in the workspace. Remember to Save your ZTool when “Edit” is selected, otherwise you will save a 2.5D image and not a 3D object.

thank u very much…so what i am facing is the nature of Zbrush…Its ok i guess its weird cuz m new to it… i juz found the wierdest thing ever is that, to save my 3d i have to save the tool.

when i go to document and save as, then it mean i save a 2.5D file…gee…
