Some personal projects of the past 4 years

I was a little bit lazy in the past with posting new stuff here in the forum. Because I only sporadically manage to find some time to play in ZBrush, each of the following projects took me at least six months, if not a year, to finish.

Last year I took Dylan Ekren’s ‘Creating Appealing Characters’ course at Mold3D Academy. The character I sculpted on during this course is based on an original design by the amazing artist Sam Leung (https://www.artstation.com/sleung).

Awesome work and great stylisation!

By the way, do you know that arrows have three fletching vanes (feathers) at the end and not 2? Even the placement of them can be specific.

Well done.

Thanks Paul

beautiful work I wanna know how do you get the surface of the models to be so clean. As you sculpt the surface of the model naturally becomes lumpy how do you smooth it so its nice and clean

Terrific work. Thanks for sharing. What is the material used on the transparent helmet?

@Stephon972- Hi. Thanks for the kind words. Well I guess the key is to make big changes only on the low resolution mesh and use the high subdivisions for adding finer details.

@katana - Thank you very much. The space girl image is rendered in Vray. For the helmet I used a more or less basic glass shader. That means no diffuse layer, only a specular (reflection) layer with a fresnel IOR of 1.6 and a glossiness of 0.9.

I finally finished my latest project which I worked on since the beginning of the year

Very clean, well done.
I like the hints of rough handling by the toy owner.

Thanks, I really appreciate it!
