Hello,
I am new to ZBrush and I have some trouble with ZBR files.
I have imported some OBJ file in ZBrush and I saved it in the ZBR format.
The issue is that when I reopen the ZBR file, I can’t select the mesh and I am unable to continue my work or even to re-export the mesh as an obj file.
I must miss something.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

The .ZBR format is a 2.5D representation of the canvas. That’s why it’s saved from the Document palette, which handles all things canvas-related.
To save a model in 3D format for later editing you need to use Tool>Save As. This saves the file as a .ZTL file.

I understand why the file was no longer editable… :rolleyes: I will save my meshes as tools. I see that I have a lot of things to learn.
