Good stuff Excellent likeness of a younger governator.
A perfect work with all the portraits.
This…is getting so cool!
Great job capturing Arnold in his youth. This looks great. Did you use a generic base mesh or was this modeled specifically based on Arnold?
Once again great work!
hey there im a 3ds max user and just started with zbrush.
im also making a celebrity “mark harmon” but cant get the skin color and feel to it can you tell me how you do yours.
help please… thanks in advance.
@Aberrant i start with a new basemesh, because if i need to sculpt hair, i need some more polys to bring out the hairstyle.
@mohdmistry, skin shading is hard to teach in just a few words, i´m using brazil 2.0 for render, others use mental ray or vray. Try a search for the renderengine you want to use. There are many tutorials out there. You could start with:

hey there mr.Carsen.
thanks for quick response im useing mentalray in 3ds max and just got trained for zbrush .
saw your work looks awesome , i realy hope tht one day i’d b as good as you.
and another thing is how do u do the hair. ??
and if you have a site or like a youtube blog we all would b really greatfull
for a video tutorial.
thanks.
@mohdmistry Please take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcNnCCpNaco&feature=related
You can also look at my turntabels, i´ve wrote some words about my workflow for the inforequester in the upper right corner of the turntables.

I hope it can help.
Awesome work man, already saved in my reference folder.
Keep working!!
hey there brother thanks for the help.
srry to bother you again but i gotta ask where do you get reference images from
or do you take those pictures personaly from celebrities .
cuz your work looks awesome.
and do you use reference textures while texturing the face or its all hand painting?
im on my way to finish my own celeb head .
:Dhi.really stunning work you have here.i wanna ask you about something
i really found it difficult when it comes to match the perspective
on the 3d software and perspective on the photo.
can you share some tips about it ? much appreciated.thanks
@mohdmistry: I use pictures from the net, like the classic google search.
Sometimes i use some DVD Snapshots. If you do a nextgen
3d Character you can try to use them as a texture, but for a
hires render you will have to paint your own new Textures.
@dhasian: Ja, that´s tricky! Here is a tip, but don´t tell it anyone else
Always sculpt in a perspective view with a fov of about 25 to 35
(This is for 3dMax!) If you have a feature named “Camera
Mapping” use this to apply the reference texture.
Do not use Planar Mapping
it won´t work well, because of it´s perspective distortions.
The renderoutput size has to be the same as your reference
image and activate the safeframe in your viewport!
Look at the Helpdoc for more information.
In 3dMax use Camera Mapping as a Worldspace Modifier! I don´t
know what it is called in other applications.
okay, this will be secret.wont tell a thing to anyone about this.
Here is an update for the Terminator. I sculpt the Jacket and the shirt.
The chain is done in 3dsMax. All textures are done in Zbrush. Still need to rework the hair and do a more dramatic lightsetup. I´m thinking about some battledamage on his face, to show the endoskull, but it would not fit to the
Movie timeline. What do you think about that? More wounds or leave it as it is?
[]
I agree with your comment about the hair and light setup…However I do think that the choice of clothing doesn’t suit his character. I would also make his robotic eye glow a bit. Overall its coming together, good job
For some reason, Arnie looks a bit like Tom Cruise here. Great great work though
I do like how clean this looks, but If you’re going to have one robotic eye showing, maybe you should put some damage around that eye.
WOW!
Great likeness on Bruce Willis (amazing), Roger Moore, Tony Curtis and Clint Eastwood!(the best I’ve seen)
Why ain’t this on TOP ROW yet???
I agree about the hair on Terminator - it looks ‘just washed’, whereas it needs to look ‘Just been through some ****’, if you know what I mean.
More on the Nicole Kidman would be good too.
Awesome. 5 stars from me!
Jit.
Yeah that hair does look sorta Herbal Essense doesn’t it ? I’d like to see Arnie with the short gel’d up hair he had back in T1 + T2, and don’t forget the leather jacket too
By the way, love the touch of skin folds you added to Clint’s neck, just above the collar bone. Good attention to detail there mate.
Looks pretty darn accurate to me.

Shadowscheme,
Doesn’t fit his character? That’s exactly what he wore in the movie.
