I want to ask about this:
Is it better to import a model with holes where eyes will be and with eyeballs as separate pieces, or model as a whole piece? I worry about exact eyes placement, to be quite round.
I want to retopo the models in zbrush, but first sculpt them in zbrush starting from basic meshes. Can I project displacement from a model with different topology, i.e. I made a hi-res mesh in zbrush and made a retopo version of it, tweaked in other program like max, so changed topology. Can I project displacement from a hi-poly zbrush model onto a retopologised version with different topology (not matching)?

if you’re going to retopo anyway, don’t use a basemesh with holes… you will have some major problems projecting details around borders.
