Solved | TRimDynamic brush inconsistencies

I’m having some issues with the TrimDynamic brush. It seems to work differently in different meshes / tools.

Let me try to explain. On my original mesh it works as expected, it flattens out the sculpted geometry nicely. But after retopologizing this mesh, the TrimDynamic brush no longer functions properly, even though both tools almost look identical and have about the same polycount. The only difference is the topology on the new mesh is much cleaner. What I mean by "not functioning properly"is that it does not flatten out newly sculpted geometry anymore, but it seems to "eat" into the mesh around the new sculpt, as with a brush like the default brush with Zsub activated. I tried changing the settings on the brush, but nothing seems to fix it. Has anyone else noticed this behaviour?

The solution was to flip the polygons, sorry if I wasted your time.
