Hi! I upgraded 3.1 to 3.5. I’m using Win XP SP3, 32-bit. I got mystical “Out of disk space” error at startup.
I compared previous 3.x installation and 3.5 and found out that earlier one had diredtory named “vmem”. I created such directory under 3.5 main directory and voila: it worked.
It seems that virtual memory needs that directory to write swap/page/whateverucallit files. When it does not find the directory, it thinks it’s out of disk space…
I just thought someone might use this information…
