Soldier

Hi, Everyone.
This is my last personal project. Soldier, lowpoly model. The modeling was done in ZBrush , rendering in V-Ray(3ds Max), texturing and compositing in Photoshop. Hope you like it!

Wow. What a beautiful tank.

The tank is great end all (nothing never seen before though), but I’m more impressed with the env. if that’s 100% digital.

What are the different ways in which ZBrush was used on this project?

ZBrush was used for sculpturing all fabric elements and almost for all astronaut’s elements. After that we made retopology, UV and baking in ZBrush. UV of astronaut was made in UVLayout

We saw it in Army Museum in Paris, I was inspired by the sable and decided to sculpt it

Wow gorgeous details! Great renders too. How much of that is alphas or IMM or tri curve brushes? I’d love to see a breakdown of how you did it. Really exceptional work!

Hi! Thank you. We make insert Mesh mostly for all elements and widely used panel loop. Minimum alphas, because we needed possibility to modificate it in any moment.
Everything in different polygroups and subtools. ZBrush is really fantastic soft.
Our priority was to make optimized model with good UV for all elements, all thin geometry we decided to bake in normal map and displace.

Love this sword. The details are wonderful.
