SoftImage to ZBRush PolyGroups?

Hi All, i looked around but couldn’t find an answer to this

I wanted to know if there are any types of grouping within SoftImage which will export to ZBrush as PolyGroups?

I have tried Clusters and Groups but they don’t transfer over, the only way i have been able to get PolyGroups from SoftImage to ZBrush is by separating the groups into separate meshes then exporting

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

What you might try is assigning materials to selected polygons or polygon clusters in Softimage and exporting as an OBJ then, in ZBrush, in “Preferences > Importexport > Import”, enable “Import Mat As Groups” button (Ctrl+Shift+I to save config).

I actually got it working after i posted this question

I’m now using GoZ which imports Clusters and Polygroups, i had tried GoZ a few times but it kept giving me errors and wasn’t loading in SoftImage but i figured out what the problem was and now it works perfectly
