So.. when exactly is Zbrush 3.5 suposed to be coming out?

Hi there… I have been resisting posting this thread for a while… but i am getting really impatient. Not that I wish them to rush… I am just curious if there is an official release date yet?

Basically I have a new project i wish to start and was holding it off untill 3.5 was out for PC… but the wait is killing me!!

Q: Is there an official release date for 3.5? I know it was ment to be around the end of August… witch is kinda now… or should I just start it in 3.1

Q: Are all the Ztools backward compatible? So if i DO start will i be able to load the ztl in 3.5?

No release date has been given. The announcement was “by the end of August”, rather than “around the end”.

Regarding backward compatiblity, we’ve always done our best to ensure backward compatiblity of models. In some cases it has been necessary to rework some things due to fundamental changes. This is usually minimal. I can’t say more at this time.
