ZBrushCentral

So whats the trick?

I’m running ZB3.2
I set my Document settings the way I like.
I save the “StartupDocument.zrb” in the startup folder.
Close ZBrush.
Open ZBrush…no custom settings?

I really dont know what I need to do other than follow the directions here…http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Startup_Document

your file says “.zrb” instead of “.zbr”
unless that is a typo.

Yeah, post is a typo.

What settings are you trying to save with the StartupDocument.zbr? I have just done a successful test on my 3.2 installation.

Are you making sure to save in the 3.2 ZStartup folder and not the 3.12 folder?

Aurick…
File is named correctly and being placed in 3.2 startup folder.

The Document Height and Width is being retained, its the Background Gradient that I cant seem to change…I’m looking to replace the the Gradient with a solid DkGrey, these controls are located in the Document pallet, do I need to look elsewhere to change and retain a BackGround color?

I don’t believe that setting can be saved. But you can easily record a macro and assign a hotkey to it. Then when you launch ZBrush, just press the hotkey to make the desired modifications all in one shot.

ok then!
Problem solved, ty
