"so long and thanks for all the fish"

To all those on the Other Questions and Troubleshooting Forum that I have helped in the past and who appreciated it, I’m glad that I could be of service and that I somehow, in the process, gave you a better understanding of ZBrush. I sincerely enjoyed helping all of you. However, I will no longer be participating in this forum as I personally feel that the atmosphere here seems to be growing more and more indifferent and not very friendly at all. After all, how much effort does it take to say thanks? I always thank the people that help me. It’s how I was raised and it’s how I roll, but I guess not everybody sees it that way. Oh well, C’est la vie!, Au Revoir, Peace.

zber, Sad to see you go. You’ve been a great help to the community and the community will be at a loss.

Thanks beta_channel. I appreciate that.

You will certainly be missed. I have definitely appreciated the help you’ve given people here.

Oh no Zber2, as a newbie you have been amazingly helpful, not just to me but to lots of people. Oh my gosh I have been away for a while practising and have only just seen this post.

This makes me really sad. I am sorry you feel the way you do.I for one would like to thank you for all the times you helped me with my annoying noobie questions. I wish you lots of happiness. You are a legend.

Please come back one day x

I appreciate all your help zber. Very kind of you to take the time to help us newcomers to zbrush. Repetitive questions must get tiresome to the seasoned Zbrushers, yet you have always been here to generously lend a helping hand. I hope after a break you’ll come back to participate once again. Forum behavior is like the weather, it can get stormy but it soon blows over and gets sunny again.

aurick, martiangirl, Nancyan…Thank you all! What you said means more to me than you could possibly know. I truely appreciate it.

And thanks from me too. I’ll hope that, after a little break, you come back again.

Thanks Marcus! …I hope so too.

nooooooooooooooo I finally return from hiatus because of drive failure and come to find out that fellow question answerer zber2 is leaving, Well goodluck comrade.

Thanks jawa64!

Hi Zber,

I’ve seen it too late, Sad to see you go,

absolutely agree.

Christian

Thanks Christian!

Hi Zbe2, I am sory to see you leaving the forums, as your posts are where I check first for answers to problems, anyway I would like to thankyou for all the times you have got me out of trouble, and I wish you well in all your endevors

Your most welcome Wazer, and thanks!

Although I didn’t know you I completely sympathize with you. People don’t realize that it often takes time and effort to help someone and a simple thanks goes a long long way.

Exactly! Thanks chrono1081.

you’ve certainly always been a help to me, sometimes even indirectly- when i read what you have helped others with.
so here’s a HUGE note of thanks from my end at any rate!

Zber2, You’ve helped me a lot, and you have contributed to making this forum a much better place than it would have been without you. But that’s not what makes me sad to see you withdraw.

The way I see it, our lives are validated by our helping others. If, at the end, a man or woman were to look back over his life and say “I never helped anyone,” what a sad excuse for a life that would be. So, when I’m able to help anyone in any way, I do it primarily for myself, just because that’s the kind of person I want to be. If the person I helped thanks me, that’s always nice. But, again, I do it primarily because that’s who I choose to be.

There are people who are incapable of really appreciating anything. That’s sad. But that’s not my life, and I don’t think it’s yours. Whether it’s in the context of this forum or in the context of life in general, helping others is worth doing whether it’s appreciated or not.

Very best regards,
DocPit
