Zbrush used for all exept the surface effect. That is the flood effect/psp.
I know, it’s a simple, but it was my morning dose of z. Shell is a 3d sphere and the mollusk body is a zsphere. Sand bottom=3d plane…

(edited…took the thumbnail down…I am pretty much through with this little excercise…it was cute but no more than that…thnx again for the comments…makes it all worth while…ron)
added a little sea buddy to hang out with Smelly Snaily…the addition all zsphere cept the eyes. I will add some foliage and other stuff to this doodle…just a pic to relax by when I can’t sleep…no major directiion…just going with the flow :wink:

i agree, this is one a little off your beaten path Ron. However I think it is perhaps the result of all that practice and a great step towards something really great. I really like the way his shell seems to be weightless in the water, I have yet to see someone approach it this way. :wink:

Ron, nice surprice this snail! Somehow it asks for some vegetation and maybe a finishline. A slow frenchman is running after the snail, but the snail is winning! (Sry Pilou :wink: )

Rich, it definitely does…lol…The need to create is always there, but my focus isn’t always there …at least not with my doodlings…When I think I have a good idea it kinda ends up fizzle farting out like a damp match… :slight_smile: love your snail:+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: I am sitting here watching the end of Runaway with Tom Selleck trying to come up with an idea or two…hopefully…Then maybe I can come up with an idea for a pic…may end up just scouring over all my sketches for a little inspiration…I just tend to sketch beyond my limits of what I can do at this time at my level in z2 though. That is my drawback with that inspiration. I was workign on the thumbnail below last night with some old models I had but as you can see in the thumbnail, she looks like pure doo doo crappola…lol…so it’s back to the grave with her…anyways thanx for the smile Rich, it was needed today.

I drrrrink, smoke, fish and Z-brush!
If you can find this vodka please try it!!! Inside the bottle there is a kind of grass giving a good taste to the vodka. Polish vodka is the best because they filter it two or more times through a charcoalfilter. So every bad taste is gone. Please send something my snail can visit yours!
