When I bring in a model I build in Lightwave and subdivide the mesh, I often get what looks like pock marks formed by the polygons.
I’ve tried using the smoothing brush but that changes the model and actually seems to accentuate the divits
. I just want to smooth it out and get rid of these “pock marks”. Is there a way to brush over a surface and just gradually smooth out textures vs adding/subtracting clay to the model?
Secondly if you bring in a model that has sharp edges to it, is there a “global smoothing” command that you can apply to either the entire object or a masked area of the object? I saw someone demo a feature like this in Mudbox.
Sorry for the basic questions.
Thanks in advance.
