How can i change the smoothing avarage? such as when i hold shift and smooth I can regulate how much it smoothes?
Not sure if this is what you’re wanting to know, but whenever you open zbrush the intensity is cranked 100%. You simply have to select the brush and turn the intensity way down to your liking. Your tablet should already be pressure sensitive. Cannot save the configuration though. Hope it helps!
you can always make a macro that you hit at startup that will set this brush to the intensity that you are comfortable, mine does this and also adjusts the brush curve, along with a bunch of other interface tweaks, it takes about 3seconds for everything but i’m so glad that i made it, give it a shot you’ll see how great it is.
I’m not familiar with making a macro, how do you go about creating this shortcut if you don’t mind?
here’s the trough, please drink.

Each brush has its own Zadd, etc. settings. They aren’t shared between brushes. All that the Shift key is, is a shortcut to the Smooth brush. So in order to change the settings for that brush, you need to first select the brush and then adjust the settings. After that, pressing Shift will shortcut you to the brush, and the desired settings.
You can also select a different brush for Shift to activate. Simply Shift+click on the brush of your choice.
Ok so its just a matter of chaning the brushes intensity? cool i thought so but i dont remeber it working so well…
thanks guys!
You can use the Reset Brush plugin to store and restore custom brush settings:
