SmoothGroupImport issue with C4D

I am using the SmoothGroupImport plugin and have applied broken phong edges in c4d which is equivalent to smooth groups in 3ds Max.

For some reason it doesn’t work.

BTW I have used the riptide pro plug that allows you to export normals

Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using 3.5? 3.1 plugins dont work in 3.5.

If not, as far as I remember the plugin only works with 3ds smooth groups, but this would be more Marcus’s territory and you might get better results from the Zbrush Zscript Utilities forum.

I am on Mac so no, I don’t believe 3.5 is available yet for mac
