smooth UVs are not saved??

hi,
this seems to be a bug and its super annoying.

if i subdivide with “Suv” option on i get nice smooth uVs.
but if i save, close zbrush and reopen it the Uvs are “hard” again.

try this:
1.open demo head
2. go to lowest subdiv , delete higher
3. uvmaster -> unwrap
4. turn on “Suv” and subdiv 1 or 2 times
5. check the nice smooth UVs with “Morph UV”
6.save it, close Z and reopen the file
7.check UVs with “morph UV”

what do u get??

this really makes me think to switch to MB.

Yes, it is a bug. I’m no expert but I discovered this issue too. There is some post in the forum that explain this but I can’t find it atm, but the workflow to get around it is to:

store the morph target of the highest level model;
go back lowest level and delete higher;
re- subdivide with suv checked;
switch back the stored morph target of the highest level;

but every time you switch to lvl1 you loose again the smooth.:evil:
