Hello. I have a problem with sculpting 1 sided surfaces without any thickness, when I smooth them, the inner polygons do smooth, and the outer edges stay in place. The only way i found to solve it is adding thickness, but it is sometimes more convenient to sculpt 1 sided surface, is there a way to do it? Thanks!
Brush -> Automasking -> Backface masking will limit your brush to just the side facing you. For the smooth brush in ZB 3.5, be sure to turn this on while holding the shift key down.
Thnx that’s a useful feature, did’t know about it. But still it does’n solve the problem with 1 sided surface. Like in 3ds MAX you can use the relax tool and turn off “Hold boundary points”, i can’t believe there is no such feature in Zbrush.
try, brush: smooth brush modifiers: min connected to 1
spaceboy412 Yes it works! Thanks a lot. A little weird though, it tightens the mesh at the borders instead of relaxing.
