Looking really nice, is this model for anything in particular, or just for fun?

How long are these models taking you to complete?

And also When are you going to do a tuorial?!? the look you acheive in your renders is just about my favourite at the moment.

As always a major inspiration.

were you inspired by freddy krueger by any chance?

Could not agree with you any more… Looks great though, and very creepy  Good job pal

Excelent modeling and rendering…even if it isn’t still just a test!
Are you using displacement map to render in modo?..or do you have the necessary hardware to use the highpoly mesh in modo?

thank you all

iatriki: I use displacement

Jekkle: inspiration…or coincidence? well both actually.I didn’t knew exactly what i was doing at first but as i worked on it it turn out to be very close to freedy

paulcarp:this model is just for fun. i think it’s about 3-4 hour of work for the modeling (maybe a bit more but as i work on my free time, it’s hard to know)

Great as usual :+1:

Is it diffucult to adjust the rendering settings to acjieve such a realistic rendering in modo?

youre taking photos  Wow nice model and youre rendering is sick bro:+1:

FoOD:  you won’t believe how many monster are walking around my house

Sebcesoir:Modo isn’t very hard to set up but it has a weird workflow about shader that i don’t like very much. even if you can get some good result, i still prefere Vray :).
for this one i used a HDR image and 1 area light.
color correction and DOF in photoshop

here a first test with texture map and SSS

Excellent as usual Maddam.

Any chance of a Modo-Zbrush-Modo workflow tutorial?

Thanks,

Jit,

I have a question about the modeling, well it´s more of a confirmation then a question. Are the wrinkles done by first carving into the model and then you use the inflate brush? Yes i know that you also use alphas for alot of them but im talking about the larger one’s, like those over his nose and forehead.

I would find this out by myself but since my stationary computer crashed a couple of months ago i only have my crappy school laptop to work with and i have to spend my days dreaming about hi-res modeling
Will try to save enough money to buy a comp some time next month probably, guess i have to start selling my body to old ragged men like your model for money :stuck_out_tongue:

P.S Im a man

AMAZING texture.

damn fine man allways an inspiration
