Hi there, how do u stop unmasked sections being resymed with smart resym? I have an a-symmetrical model but i cant keep it a-symmetrical.

I mask off a section that i want to be resymed over to the other side, then i press smart resym, but the rest of the model thats unmasked gets combined with the opposite side thats also unmasked and the entire model becomes symetrical >_< Sup widdat??

mask everything you want to stay the same. The unmasked parts are what are changing.

thanks man, geez i just figured it out myself and was about to post this ridiculously simple solution >_<

but to explain acurately, u mask off the side u want to bring to the other side to make symmetrical…

and A-symetrical parts u want to stay the same u mask off BOTH sides
