howdy,
so right now, there are so many tools, it’s kinda difficult to access the tools that i want. i need to filter past all the 2d and 2.5d tools in order to get to the 3d tools that i want to work with and even when i get to 3d tools, it’s difficult to access the default/built in tools vs. the tools that i (inadvertently) created at some point.
it would be nice if TOOLS was organized into CONTEXT SENSITIVE and COLLAPSIBLE palettes by:
-2D TOOLS
-2.5D TOOLS
-3D PROCEDURAL
-3D POLYMESHES
and that when i want to append a subtool, that i would automatically get the 3d palettes only and not the 2d stuff as well. and similarly, if i’m doing 2d work, that the order of palettes favor the 2d brushes.
i know that right now, we have the slider that lets you scrub by name but imo, this is less than ideal and i do end up feeling overwhelmed and underserved - i’d really like to see a visual representation of all the tools and not have to rely on a tiny slider that rapidly flips past names. also, the visible icons of selectable tools always show up in our existing tool palette in a somewhat haphazard fashion and i almost never have quick access there to the tools i’m looking for.
anyhoo, just throwing it out there.
thanks for a remarkable app!
