Slider fine adjustment hotkey?

Hello,

I searched for a while to find a function where I can switch to fine adjusting the UI slider.
I can’t believe that there is no option like i.e. LMB = big steps, LMB+STRG = small steps.
So I am sorry if I just over viewed it.

This would be very comfortable for adjusting Deformers, BPR Filters…where ever fine steps causing big changes.

This is what the doc is saying, but not what I am looking for. Maybe there is really no function for fine adjusting sliders with mouse?:
“Sliders: These allow you to set numerical values within a given range. For example, the Rgb Intensity slider allows values from 0 to 100. To change the value, click and drag on the slider. For a precise value, you can click once on the slider, type the desired value, then press Enter to set the value and deselect the slider.”

pretty sure this isn’t what you’re looking for, but maybe.

Not sure, but you can always just click on the slider knob and enter a numeric value and press enter to confirm.

Thank you guys.
Unfortunately this is not what I am looking for.
In 3ds max ie. you click on a number and press ALT.
If you move your mouse now, the number will change very fine. Let me say not ten numbers per centimeter mouse movement, just one number very precisely.

Numeric entering is good to have. Rotating exact 90 degrees, 45 degrees. Very helpful.
But we are artists not engeneers, aren’t we?
Most of the time we are moving a slider and see if we like what is happening. :slight_smile:
Slowing down this would be too cool.
Maybe some of you guys now how to code this quickly?

Unexpected things are possible - like a deformation video due to every step is an undodeform3.gif:lol:

Anyway this helps a lot.
Still it would be brilliant to have the possibility to switch from big to fine steps while moving the slider with mouse or pen.
Maybe some time?
