Hi there,
I am quite new to 3D modelling and have been trying to teach myself zbrush the last while. Please forgive me if it sounds very amaturish. I have made a 3d sculpture in zbrush that i want to be printed on my reprap. However What i want to do is rather than print the sculpture in one piece i want to cut the sculpture into several pieces using the slice/curve brush and then print each part individually before re assembling them physically. So that i can make a much bigger sculpture than the workspace of the reprap.
I am wondering if people have done this and if it is possible. What I am wondering is if each piece that is printed will be relative in size. so that i am not getting part A twice the size as part B or something like that.
I hope I am making sense with this. Is there another software that people will think i will need? Hopefully not.
Any help that you could give would be much appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time
Paul
