SliceCurve and Dynamesh results in scattered disappearance of Mesh

Using a MacBook Pro OS X Mavericks and ZBrush 4R6 P2. When I use Slice Curve in Dynamesh and re-dynamesh I lose part of the mesh. Here is an example which is a dynamesh project from lightroom with slice curve applied and then control-drag (same result with command-drag). Have noticed this the last couple weeks. Any suggestions?

Turn on “Colorize” for the subtool in “Tool > Polypaint” (or paintbrush icon in subtool list) before you turn on “DynaMesh” or before you re-DynaMesh.
