SleepSheep Sketchbook

Here are some of my best models; I have been working with Zbrush for about 3 years now and have been slowly building my portfolio and sculpting techniques. I know that I am really young, but I am building my work and style piece by piece and I would really appreciate some feedback on some of my pieces.

This is Hester, she is one of my
first characters, I based her
on a photo of a Cassowary bird I saw

Rosa is based on a friend of mine, I
enjoy mythology and made a character
based on her Astrology(Zodiacs, sign, etc…)

This Pirate is a piece I did to
work on an old character with
wound, wrinkles and clothing

This is one of my newest ones, its Wiccan from
the Marvel comics and I wanted to work
on a realistic-style character

This is Ardha the unification of Shiva and his
wife Parvati,I was inspired by the Resurrectionisit
book and wanted to
work on the muscle structure and might do a skeleton

I needed to improve my creature and stylized sculpting and ran into these Real Monsters; by Toby Allen (http://zestydoesthings.tumblr.com). And asked if I could model them, he agreed to let me use his concept and art to practice my sculpting.
“The artwork is not at all intended to make light of these conditions but instead is intended to give these intangible mental illnesses some substance and make them appear more beatable as physical entities.” -Toby Allen
This is Anxiety, I had a fun time sculpting him and getting him to look liek the concept. I did all of the modeling and Rendering in Zbursh. I have two more made, Dissociative Identity Disorder and Depression.

This is for the AWSOME Stephen McCraine. The maker of http://doodlealley.com/, and his wonderful words of wisdom. His book is about to be made on Kickstart: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stephenmccranie/brick-by-brick.
I did this as a thank you to Stephen and his work which has been very inspirational and comforting for me. I added somethings from the chapters and titles to the work based on his book and comics.

The Sculpt is based on Bernini’s Rape of Persephone. I did the final render in Renderman in Maya 2016; and the environment is combination of Maya and Zbrush modeling and sculpting.
I did not realize the amount of detail of this piece until I started really working on it. I hope that I was able to do it justice. I did this project to just sculpt something, I hadn’t done a sculpt for just sculpting in awhile and was feeling the itch. I am learning Renderman at school and wanted to use it to get my final image for practice.
