After a few months playing with Zbrush, I post today a character created by Pat Mills, designed by Simon Bisley.
Comments and critics are welcome.
awsome work man. i have no commonets on it. you left my mouth wide open
nice model man!
Bet Bisely would like this!
Awesome job! I really like this character, pretty badass. Detailing looks good all the way through, but it can still be taken further I think. A few things I noticed you may want to rework… anotomically, everything is very well proportioned but I think his bicep would stretch longer as his arm is extended, its looks good if his forearm was up as it seems to be flexing. The hands seem a little bit long. His fur coat should rest more on his shoulders, all the cloth straps I see need to be a little bit more defined especially on the stick holding the heads. It would be nice to see more variation on the orc heads like maybe a cut off ear on one and a different expression. It appears you don’t have any subtools on him so thats why a lot of the accessories kind of blend into the other which doesn’t really matter, each just needs to be more defined leaving sharper edges. Easy fix with masking. Anyways, hope this helps. I really like it how it is but I think its very important to be critical for your own benefit. Excellent work!
Thanks to all! You’re right Benjw703, I should go further, I take on my free time to work on zbrush, and I want to make so much characters, but I’ll rework on it soon! Here are some other pictures of Slaine.

great job man! I love Slaine!!! I agree with Benjw703 about almost everything except for the biceps subject. Actually, if you read the comics, you’ll see that Slaine’s biceps are always that big, even relaxed hehehe!! So, keep the excelent work! Me, as a beginner too (bought Zbrush a couple weeks ago ) can only say that I hope I can post as a good work as you did in a few months!! Thumbs up for ya!!
Thank’s Pepe! I thought too not to change the biceps, Slaine’s as you said are always contracted in the comic book, and with this character, I didn’t want too make realism, but Bisley’s Slaine!!
Nice modelling. Good to see yet another 2000ad character. One thing I’d look into is using the SnakeHook brush and mess around with his hair a bit. You maybe able to give it that spiky look that he’s got in the comic.
Keep it up
